Hi Kristen!
This blog is so helpful. Incredibly. I love your honesty, and I love how this post is beyond physical beauty.
My jaw situation is not unlike yours. I have an underbite and what looks like a long face (the Jay Leno comparison I can completely empathize). My doc said for surgery, they'd forward my upper jaw. He didn't mention anything about cutting my lower jaw back to maybe make my chin/lower jaw look less prominent, less Leno-y.
How do you feel about just your upper jaw pulled forward? Do you mind that your lower jaw is unchanged?
Thank you ^2342342

My lower jaw was pushed back as well - the surgeon altered both my upper and lower.
