Professor Randy Pausch, from Carnegie Mellon, is dying from pancreatic cancer. His doctors gave him months to live.
If you haven't heard his Last Lecture, click on the YouTube video below. No, it's not the usual pep talk you'd expect. It's inspiring, witty, and wise. It helped me see things from a different perspective.... and more importantly, feel the responsibility, the NECESSITY, to lead the best life possible.
The video is 76 minutes long, so make time for it.

Hey Kristen, I saw the tv special about him -- his book was also recently published and he has a website where you can keep up with him -- he is going through an experimental treatment. http://download.srv.cs.cmu.edu/~pausch/news/index.html By the way, I also highly recommend A New Earth by Eckert Tolle -- a very illuminating and life changing book! Regards, Mary
I've been following Randy's journal since you posted this, and I was very sad to see today that he has passed away.
Oh no. The world lost yet another great soul that's inspired so many.
